This website / blog / interweb-meeting-portal-thing is all about things to do and see as a parent in and around the city of York, based on our own personal experience.

We want it to be full of stuff that will make life with kids a little bit easier and a lot more fun.  Where’s good to eat.  Cool places to visit.  Fun things that are happening in the city and beyond.

We’re a family of five.  We’re not scary.  We don’t knit our own muesli sweaters or anything.

We just thought it would be a good idea at the time.  We know all about having blazing rows in the car on the way to an overpriced cafe serving undercooked food.

And we know what a relief it is to find a truly great place to go.  Most of the articles on this site are about places we’ve actually been to ourselves.
